We want to get as many people as possible to help us raise awareness and funds to provide blankets to thousands of the youngest and oldest Iraqi and Syrian refugees who have no choice but to sleep under the open sky without a blanket.
The First fold is that we challenge you to spend one hour in the late evening outside under the open sky: no coat, no gloves, no scarf, and no blanket. This will give you a glimpse of what it is like to face the cold outdoors overnight without any relief.
The Second fold is for you to challenge others to do the same by calling them out on social media, sharing this post on Facebook or getting your church small group to take the challenge.
Our focus will be on the most vulnerable refugees, children and the elderly. Your support is needed to protect young refugee children and elderly men and women from the threats of exposure, hypothermia, and death.
A $12 donation (the cost of one comforter-style blanket) can save the life of a small child or an elderly couple living under the open sky far from their destroyed home and village. A tax-deductible gift of $24 can provide warmth and shelter for two at-risk refugees. A $60 donation will bless five of the youngest and most vulnerable ISIS survivors. Simply complete the form below:
